Who is this Girl on Fire? Who is Marshay Iwu?

God calls me His Mighty Woman of Valor. I am His and He is Mine.

But yet, it has always been hard for me to speak about who God called me to be. It has always been hard for me to speak about myself and my gifts because I felt it would be seen as bragging. But now, I know who I am and I will never again hide my lamp under a basket. I am a light in the world. My light cannot be hidden. My light will not be hidden under a basket, but will instead be placed on a lampstand, to give light for all to see. I will let my FIRE shine before others, so that they may see my good works and give glory to my Father in Heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 CSB.

What are My Gifts?

“Blessed be the Lord, my rock who TRAINS my hands for BATTLE and my fingers for WARFARE.” Psalms 144:1 CSB.

It has been said of me that I am loving, kind, and patient. I’m a glass half-full woman. I am an encourager. I am joyful. I know how to suffer long (endurance). I am a profound speaker whenever I open my mouth. I am a gifted writer. I am slow to speak. I am a listener who reasons well. I have the gift of wisdom. I know what to do and how to do it and when to do it, even if my “when” is a little slow sometimes (insert crying laughing emoji; let’s blame it on the fact that I was born 2 weeks late). I am a leader. “There’s also something very professional/business-minded about me that’s unique and set apart as well!  “She has both knowledge of the law and the know how to deal with people.”
